Research about size 0-Anorexia

The media worship skinny celebrities and are constantly splashing their images across magazines that teenagers read. The media is pressuring young people into believing that the thinner they are the better. Girls are driven towards dieting and even skipping meal.

"Celebrities are idolized by teenagers all over the nation. They are role models"

Fashion magazines only tend to show the skinny women on their front covers. Many young people see celebrities as beautiful people who are adored. This is something teenagers desire to achieve; they strive to look and act like these celebs.

Skinny is portrayed by the media as being beautiful, even perfect.

Here is my first political cartoon. From my cartoon I am trying to portray across to the audience how the whole "Size 0" concept is affecting the population (mostly women). I feel this cartoon does not need no text as i think the image itself communicates the message i am trying to give perfectly.
